GetConsoleCP
Windows
NT: The GetConsoleCP function
returns the identity of the input code page used by the console associated with
the calling process. A console uses its input code page to translate keyboard
input into the corresponding character value.
Windows
95: On Japanese and Korean
implementations of Windows 95, the GetConsoleCP function returns the VM
code page, because the OEM code page can be either 437 or DBCS. On all other
implementations of Windows 95, the GetConsoleCP function returns the OEM
code page.
