The FreeEnvironmentStrings function frees a block of environment strings.

Parameters

lpszEnvironmentBlock

Pointer to a block of environment strings. The pointer to the block must be obtained by calling the GetEnvironmentStrings422G_SS function.

Return Values

If the function succeeds, the return value is nonzero.

If the function fails, the return value is zero To get extended error information, call GetLastError11C2VS7.

Remarks

When GetEnvironmentStrings is called, it allocates memory for a block of environment strings. When the block is no longer needed, it should be freed by calling FreeEnvironmentStrings.
