The SetUserObjectInformation function sets information about a window station or desktop object.

    HANDLE hObj,

// size, in bytes, of pvInfo buffer

Parameters

hObj

Identifies the window station or desktop object for which to set object information. This value can be an HDESK or HWINSTA handle (for example, a handle returned by CreateWindowStation1_I7S06, OpenWindowStation3O8YCVO, CreateDesktopMIH.I, or OpenDesktop6LUNHD).

nIndex

Specifies the object information to be set. This parameter must specify the following value:

UOI_FLAGS

Sets the object s handle flags. The pvInfo parameter must point to a USEROBJECTFLAGSZNLXBT structure.

 

pvInfo

Points to a buffer containing the object information.

nLength

Specifies the size, in bytes, of the information contained in the buffer pointed to by pvInfo.

 

Return Values

If the function succeeds, the return value is nonzero.

If the function fails the return value is zero. To get extended error information, call GetLastError11C2VS7.
