Command Strings

MCI supports command strings and command messages. This section discusses how to use MCI command strings. For information about the command-message interface, see Command Messages73IC_.2.

You can send a string command by using the mciSendString1PGC_K2 function, which includes parameters for the string command and a buffer for any returned information.
